Somerset Badger Group vaccinates its 600th badger.

On 12 July, five members of our vaccination team headed out in the morning to one of SBG’s large vaccination sites and reached a milestone, vaccinating its 600th badger!

SBG began its vaccination programme in 2021, and 2021 looks set to be its busiest ever, offering an alternative to culling for farmers and landowners who don’t want to go down that route.

This is a huge group achievement, whether you’re actively involved in vaccinating or not.  Simply being a member helps fund this vital work!
